Toyota fail

OK, this is not the trucks fault but the drivers. Just to good to pass up.
It says a lot there there are out there with them.

You got to love the adventure. TV likes a bit of tension to move the story. They have it.

Oh man... that is great... to catch on film...

Up until the end, it reminds me of when we pulled a Cherokee out of Laguna Percebu mud trying to get onto Shell Island... and the tide was rolling in, the same way! Ken Cooke was there and has photos.

Thanks for that link... is there a Part 2?

Reminds me of my stuck on the mud flats between La Bocana and Abreojos. One of my great memories.

The jeep that came to save us got stuck as well. Now we were digging 2 vehicles out of the mud. They finally got a road grader with the longest rope I had seen, probably 100 yds. He pulled out the jeep and then us. It felt like skiing on mud as I steered the van across slippery mud.

Wonderful experience. We spent two days stuck out by the mangroves. I remember getting up at night to relieve myself and finding blue crabs under my tires.
