SCORE may be the most well known race promoter in Baja, but they only have 3 races. Other promoters such as C.O.D.E and other Mexico based promoters put on several times as many races as SCORE. Blaming Score races and personel and participants for disturbing Mexico is awfully short sighted. More Mexican racers run these races than from the US.

JR, it is bad enough that the locals paint the boulders, but when foreign guests do it it makes me more ill.

As both people in your photo are dark haired, did you get a better look to see if they were Americans? Did you confront them? Take down the license plate and report them? The photo is great evidence. It could be sent to Sal Fish (SCORE) and the racer this crew was supporting could be really hurt by this!

Yah David

I have all the info. The racer this crew was supporting was all of them. These guys are from BFG back east and they are one of the pit crews.
Their lovely art says BFG Pit 3/4 mile. Not only did I watch them paint it, I watched them come back to touch it up which I also got some lovely photos of.
I didn't confront them but the people I was with did. Because they were being confronted in Spanish, I don't think they even knew they were doing something wrong.
And people wonder why I sometimes get down on gringos!! Go figure.
