Bypass Road

Have watched with great hope about the Ensenada bypass road that is being developed right outside the turnoff from Ensenada to Teacate. As all of you know, getting thru Ensenada is not a quick trip anymore. So many trucks and traffic, and I hear this road will help that situation.
Anyone have any info on the progress or the final destination of the road?

I recall a map posted on Nomad showing the route around Ensenada... Hwy. 3 (Tecate road) to Hwy. 3 (San Felipe road) to Hwy. 1 (La Paz road).

They are paving the 1st section, east from Hwy 3 to Ave Ruiz in Ensenada.
