But! There are grizzly bears in Mexico, but maybe they've all been fitted between the lips of a taco as well.

WE have the Jaguarundis in Nayarit, my house is named Ek Balam, Mayan for dark Jaguar, after one visited my home the first night I moved in 5 years ago

Yesterday, on the way home from La Paz, on the stretch from Insurgentes to Nopolo, about 5 miles from the turn off, we encountered a dead feline on the side of the road, apparently hit by traffic. It was the size of a bobcat, but the markings were like that of a panter with miniature spots. Never seen a bobcat like that. Maybe a jaguarundi ? :P:biggrin:
