the new Pemex certainly looks nearly ready to open...maybe a nice Christmas present? hahaha...right, in my dreams...but certainly in 2014 (although NOTHING is certain in baja right!)

Love the passing on a topes photo too....or is this the new 4 lane highway into town? jejejeje

Wasn't it about a year ago that someone posted that Asuncion was getting a PEMEX. Any day now I am sure

If I were to hazard a guess, judging by other gasolineras I followed from beginning to opening, I would say this one will start pumping in Late September.

The vetting and permits process is daunting. I wonder if the owner is going to become part of the majority of station owners, the 104% club?

sure am glad ours is owned by the coop. They pump into theboat refuelling truck. any 104% would not be tolerated  Maybe if your town (the customer) insisted on honesty at the pump, it will happen
