70 y Mas...Mariachis on the patio!

Our amigos in a band called "70 y Mas" (the Over 70's) from Guerrero Negro visited us on the weekend to share the bounty from some excellent yellowtail fishing. They played some music while the fish was cooking.

It was one of those wonderful impromptu Sunday gatherings on our patio on a gorgeous summer-like day. Friends & neighbours brought refreshments and the girls got in the party spirit! Here is Barbareno with Emily who is heading to Peru...who by the way was a magnificent masseuse much to the delight of many who tested her wares.

Timo1 thought he'd better try to keep up to the ladies!

It was so neat how all the musicians kept trading instruments on every song...just passing them around...Juan even played that tololoche which was held together with duct tape and twine!

Barbareno even wowed us with her dancing skills...what a girl!

these guys are old school and everyone enjoyed hearing the old tunes they played. It was an honour to have them on our patio!
