Apartment rent amounts in Tijuana

I have been looking for an apartment to rent in Tijuana and thought the rental cost that I found might be of interest.

I have rented there in previous years and want to find a new place so I have taken a few months to look at several areas that I might want to live in. The apartment I look for is a semi-modern to modern, with floor coverings, tiled bathroom, kitchen cabinets, window security, secure parking hot water, and in a decent area. Not in a slum lord building.

1 bedroom with no view generally is about $250. to 350. dllrs. Add 50 to 75 dllrs for a decent or great view of something. The beach and agua caliente areas get higher rents.

example: A brand new, 2 bdrm apt, on top of a hill with fantastic view, close to San Ysidro, underground parking with stove and refri and very nice touches is 500 dllrs. with a 6 month contract.

Not scientifice, only my experience.
