Dog Stories, Pt. III
The "Huff"
Our female Great Dane gets really anxious when Dad is not home.
She crawls under the the covers in bed and rolls against me.
I turn over and embrace her and then I hear a deep breath taken in and then, the "Huff", and then, total relaxation follows.

In My Dreams
I am visited by our departed companions.
No worry, they will be there to take you along the highway.

Gypsy Jan,
If you see my old Lab, Gypsy, in your dreams, tell her to bring back my sheepskin slippers, okay?
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.
