Rain..........

Is the topic lately.

How many in Baja or in the States have a rainwater capture system??

According to the below linked calculator:

If you had a 1000 square foot roof and it rained 1", you could harvest an estimated 561 gallons

If your roof area was 1200 square feet, that same 1" of rain would produce an estimated 673 gallons

Seems like a good idea to catch some of that liquid

A Cistern? I thought about building one, but I invested in a telephone instead. A quick call to the man with the Pipa, and I have 3000 brand new gallons.....rain or shine.

I could build one here in B.A. for the owners of the house and it would be quite inexpensive - 1/16th inch deep as a matter of fact.
