A hello from a long lost Nomad,

Hello all, it's been about 4 years since i last posted here. We still have our place in Elias Calles and will be driving down there in a week or so for 5 glorious weeks of vacation.

We live in Raleigh NC now and have a 7 year old son. I haven't done satellite work in years. We now own and operate an ammunition manufacturing plant in Erwin NC where we make handgun ammo for some of the top competitive shooters in the world along with inexpensive but great target ammo.

Regards to all, I really miss being in a Baja state of mind.

You are right it has been a long time. I still do a few starband installs. Your name comes up fairly often. In a good way. Welcome back.

Monoloco, PM replied to.

Larry great to hear that my legacy lives on...in a good way.

You need any Starband stuff. I still have some modems and transmitters/LNB's laying around I think. PM me if you do.

Welcome Baja Max!

Congratulations on your growing family and explosive business!

Your live reporting (on Amigos de Baja) when the hurricane hit over a dozen years ago was epic... and your hospitality, as well.

Good to hear from you. Say hello to Markos for me. Maybe light off a few cherry bombs while you're there. We plan on heading down this summer for a visit.

Enjoy!

Hola Heather, Yes that was one hell of a storm to be stuck in. Good times even with all the destruction.

I look forward to the drive. it has been literally about 8 years since we drove it and we used to do the trip from NY several times a year in our Bus...Parked it when gas hit 97 cents a gallon.

Good to hear from you.

A small world indeed.I drive thru Coats just about everyday. My ammo manufacturing business is in the old Swift Denim plant. right across the street from the Firehouse. Stop by and say hello some day.
