Just a cool series

WOW --- Thank you. One thing I wish they had spent a bit more time on was the Mexican American War with no mention of the opposition in the US over that pre-emptive war of "Manifest Destiny". One of the primary opponents was a young Congressman named Abraham Lincoln. But then again, it was more about today.

Having lived and taught school for 5 years in Calexico, we really learned a lot about border culture and it is a very unique culture, very unique. Just a few miles north the culture is more US culture, and not so far south, the culture is Mexican.

A great series of photos, great snippets of human lives, and so much more. It was done so well. I will watch it again! THANKS
