Does anyone know if these fires are interfering with the road to Valle de Guadalupe from Rosarito?

They don't respond to brush fires in a stateside manner. In fact, due to their lack of resources, they just let them run their course unless life or
property is threatened.

The fire between Ensenada and Ojo Negros (first picture) is still burning this AM. The La Buffadora fire (2nd and 3rd photos) was put out by the Punta
Banda Volunteer Fire Dept. yesterday. The Mirador/ LNG plant fire (4th photo) burned it's self out overnight (with the help of the Semper Energy crew
I would guess).

Just got a call from the Tecate border gate a few minutes ago and it's blowin' to beat all hell there with a one hour wait.

Punta Banda Fire
The Punta Banda Fire Dept. members do a good job. but they were not the only Fire Dept. that responded to that fire, we were coming home and some
really nice fire trucks passed us on the way out there.

WE came from Tecate yesterday and it was the same story, Be especially watchful when you enter or exit some of the cuts in the hills the wind takes
on a turbo like force and will move your vehicle all over the road.

OK John, since they passed you which fire departments were they from? The only trucks I saw going up (and down) the hill were the two from PBVFD + the
first response SUV and Kimbal's Black Witch Oregon water hauler.

The trucks that passed were in Cantu I didn't ask them for their ID. they looked to be in a hurry. but we followed them up the hill past your house
to R.P. where we turned off.
It is not my intent to discredit the volunteer F.D. they do what they can with the resources they have.
Because of them my house is INSURED to the Hilt.

Incendios en Norte ‘Nada, Valle de Guadalupe, 4PM hoy. Mi foto esta de la entrada de Punta Brava(“Campo Elin”).
For those not familiar with the view north to Ensenada from Punta Banda, above photo right side shows a small trail of puffs from the widely
publicized CETYS/UABC campus fire. The big cloud is from the Valle de Guadalupe fires, with the cloud drifting west to Bahia Salsipuedes, the now
closed part of the Toll/Scenic Road.
Udo, the La Buf fires yesterday were 1 mile west of me and 1 mile north of La Buf.
There were several fires reported in Valle de Guadalupe today. Smoke cloud is much weaker now at 6PM.

Ensenada 1PM today with Valle de Guadalupe fire above the hills. The fires in El Sauzal(right side of photo) die hard this week.

Awesome fotos, you guys! Very dry season in La Valle and everywhere. Let's hope no one is hurt, human or animals or vegetables/vineyards! With a
smoky hint of varmint, ha! Tio
