I would recommend a place called "Betuccini's". where I been to a few times lately with my girlfriend. Here is the address:
Carretera Libre Tijuana-Ensenada | Km 28.5, Rosarito 22710, Mexico
It is an Italian restaurant and their food is delicious, they serve big portions. Betuccini's is on the main street located right next to Rene'.
It's interesting to note that every time my GF and me have been there, over at Rene's there is only one or two cars parked in Rene's parking lot,
while Betuccini's is full and difficult to find a parking space. So this is a very popular restaurant and many of the clients of "Betuccini's are
locals from Rosarito and Tijuana.
The restaurant decoration is charming and cozy, and It is lit by candle lights. So this is a this is a nice restaurant if you want to go to on a
romantic date, which is one of the reasons why I was there, along with the good food. As you enter the restaurant, you go up a few stairs and you
then find yourself in a small room with two very private tables. Now, they have a patio that is very family oriented if you want to take the family
and the kids. after all one of the best foods they have their is their pizza they make in an authentic Neapolitan brick oven, and I have never met a
kid that didn't like pizza, an adults will like these pizzas. However, inside the restaurant it's very romantic, where i understand it's common to
see older VIP, mover and shakers from Baja with young beautiful ladies. I was with a beautiful lady, but she was a little older, and like fine wine,
she only gets better with age.
I recommend the house salad or the Ceasar's salad, and the difference between the two is the Ceasar's comes with large portions of very tasty grilled
chicken. The cost is about $9.50 US. Now what could be costly is the wine, but well worth it, and the restaurant carries a wide sections of Baja
wines, as well as other drinks.
The service is excellent and you almost feel as you have your very own waiter at all times. The bread, which is always fresh off the oven, is also
very delicious.
There is a little history to the restaurant Beuccini's that I have heard, and so I will repeat it. Well, the owner's name is "Roberto", and his
nickname is "Betin". When Betin got married, him and the wife built an outdoor pizza oven and would make pizza's at their private parties. Well,
pretty soon, the neighbors and friends were asking to pay for their pizza's...then they opened their own restaurant, and the rest its history.
Anyway I highly recommend Beuccini's for the very good Italian food, the ambiance, the tasty pizza and their wines and beers. I can't wait to go
back.

Thank you, and yes I do believe they offer take out as well, and as I wrote the review, I looked at what others wrote about this restaurant
Betuccini's". on "Trip Advisor" and it also says this restaurant offers delivery, and late night.
Now not all the reviews are good on Trip Advisor" and rarely are all the reviews good on review sites like "Yelp" and "Trip Advisor," but most of
the reviews are very positive.

Got out today to popotla which would have been a pain if not for my motorcycle due to the masses. I bought red snapper and flounder out of a ponga
for 40 pesos/kilo.
I then rode down to Plash which was recommended here and loved it. Talked to a expat from Canada, living in Puerta Nuevo area.
Brought my fish home, bbq'ed it and had a great day. Rosarito is 16 miles from my house in Tijuana. Easy ride. Next trip I will try El Pescadora.

I'm going to have to follow you down to Popotla sometime. All I ever see are dried up fish at the entrance to the beach (not on ice or anything) that
are ridiculously priced (as opposed to prices in Ensenada or other places).
So, do you walk past these guys and go find someone in a panga for the fresh stuff?
