i have done some splunking here in the states what if any caves or caverns are to to found in the baja?

I couldn't find much on it but there are several books about Las Cuevas de las Hadas in the Montaņos Crystobal. Groups of early spelunkers have perished and were never found in that part of the extensive caveworks they call Las Casa de Abejas. Probably David K has the co-ordinates for you.

Osprey, I don't know about any cave called 'Bee hive'? Are there crystal caves in Baja?

"Crystal caves" as in limestone with stalactites and stalagmites?
Yes, there are. Due to their fragile nature, I will not post details about them here. About 25 years ago, I was fortunate to be one of the first few to rappel in and explore a pristine cave. I heard that many of the delicate formations were subsequently trashed.
