More "Marie" storm casualties

while I was down at the beach beside our place today there were large quantities of dead "cucarachas" or chitons all over the beach as well as lots of fresh abalone shells...bad sign. I will make some jewellery sometime out of them so they may live on.

I like the 1st photo. Showing the citons (sp) or butterfly shells when they break apart. Great kid memories of Crystal Cove in Laguna. I don't know what camera you have now Shari but I'm liking your photo work a lot now. Keep it up please.

true woody but it is illegal to use them or they would be gone by now...well..umm...maybe they are all gone now anyway...sigh....hmmm...I wonder if the lobster will be undernourished this season. I heard yesterday they want to open 2 weeks earlier than usual...Sept.15th.

I transfer the photo to my computer and use Photobucket for a quick edit. If I want a really nice image, I will edit it in Photoshop for better quality.

..from the rapidly escalating forecasts,,,'hanging-in' might not be the best plan for Ascunsion.

..I hope things change,,,but for now it seems you're one step away from a full blown 'caine coming up the beach..... http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_ep4+shtml/174456.sh...

......take care.
