Agree with Woody. Took a Highlander to La Paz. Four weeks.

It is not a problem at all... I have taken all three of my new Tacomas to Baja with just the paper taped to the windshield. My 2005 went to Baja the same day I picked it up! Get it trained early, I always say!

Here is my '05 the day after I got it, on the beach west of El Rosario...

Here is my '10 about 3 weeks after getting it, at Bahia Santa Maria, photo taken by BajaRob....

Thank's Udo... they are nice 4x4s!

Here is my first Tacoma (2001 model) with me driving it to Mission San Borja (photo by Bedman)...

Not sure if I had plates on it, but this photo was taken on New Years Day 2000, on Shell Island, and I had the truck about a month or so (photo by Lorenzo de Baja)...

Totally not an issue. If CBP wants to make an issue of it they can take the paper out of the window but when I took my Silverado down with the paper plate on the guy just said, "Well, you got lucky this time, your truck is still here."
