Papaya leaves, cure for Dengue

Tea for Dengue

I have don’t have a Facebook account but my wife does and she found an article about Dengue and papaya leaves. Seems papaya leaf tea is good for a lot of what ails us including Dengue.

At their last bi-monthly meeting she shared her info with the ladies’ charity group here in town. Today I learned that one member of the group (and there may be more) contracted dengue fever, remembered the papaya cure, got some leaves, took the tea and woke up the next morning as though she had never been infected.

The whole thing would be a lot less credible but the woman taking the leaf tea owns a pharmacy here in town and is a licensed doctor of medicine and a friend of mine who I run to for consultations when I’m sick.

We need a professional medical person to weigh in on this remedy. Any out there who wish to offer an opinion?

My thread, the post was not hearsay, it's the truth. It happened just a few days ago.

I'm a consummate liar and I admit it. One time my friends caught me telling the truth and I lied my way out of.

This is that rare occasion where I was just acting as reporter to give good news to people in the tropics who read this forum. I surely wouldn't advise them to follow my good news by not seeking professional medical attention. In this case, the victim IS A DOCTOR and it happened to her.

Bob and Susan, please ONLY call me a liar when you're sure I'm fully into the mode.
