69 on the porcch when I woke up

Please tell me that means it is starting to get cooler.
Clean up in the heat has been too much several days. We just had to quit and run for cover, water and, after 17 days, a fan

Hooray to the Mexican people, CFE, the Mexican gov't, the debris removers

POO POO to Telmex
When I went in to report my phone was out of order...that is a nice way of putting it...the lady, whom I have known for 15 years, got this very sad look and told me that she could not tell me when we would have service. So far Telmex trucks have not been seen in my neighborhood.

Hope everyone is doing ok.
Cant believe that it had been a month since the storm hit....WHEW

We found part of one of our storage sheds(Home Depot) in the middle of the baseball field at least a half a mile from our place. We figure it got blown into the river and washed back this way.

I have been keeping a journal but who knows when I will have time to edit it and post it. Maybe a nice Christmas bedtime story...horror story, of course. Actually there are probably more good things than bad

BTW everything greening up here

I went down to my shop this morning with a new basic landline telephone, spent an hour trying to find out why there is no service, I'm also on the highway in a San Jose. I then call their 800 number and spent about 15 minutes punching in the same info about 8 times and never spoke with a live person, the recording says someone will arrive between 9-3 maņana???
Telmex/telcel really dropped the ball after this storm, it made no sense that they could not put up any portable cel towers, all the other govt agencies except for the local Los Cabos govt have done a great job, as far as I can see the only good thing telmex did was bring water purification equipment. There is also just sparse service in the local neighborhoods.
Pretty tough to restart the economy without normal communications.

I might not have clicked on this post if it said 68, or 70 on the porch this morning! Is that wrong?
