Changes when crossing Otay Mesa for inspection


The Otay border crossing is now open at 8 AM when crossing with items to be inspected, such as construction material. They used to open at 6 AM. They will not let you cross with any used wood. They will send you back to the U.S. if you have used wood. :mad:

Also they did not want us bringing a used toilet across to Mexico.

wood needs a fumigation permit...

why would ANYONE want a USED toilet
the new ones are so much nicer and CLEANER
available everywhere in mexico
in fact I think most are made here

It was our toilet from the U.S. We bought anew one. We don't waste anything.
