Honda makes excellent generators - the rest of their stuff is average IMO.

I've had one of their 225 HP outboard motors on my boat for a couple of years. 500 hours and not a single hiccup and it gets nearly 2x the fuel mileage of the troublesome Yamaha it replaced (granted the Yammy was a 2-stroke). I talked to a guy in San Quintin with the same boat and same motor and he was on 3,000 hours with his motor. That's almost unheard of with an outboard.

I rode my first M/c in about 1967 on San Francisco hills. a 175 scrambler. Honda was well above average back then too.

Now that I'm thinking of that time in my life, neighbor's had; a Jag xke, another had one of those 3 wheel cars with the door in the front and when opened, the steering wheel pivoted to allow the door to open. A neighbor had a Mustang Shelby 350 that he bought off AVIS. He washed it every Saturday. Misc other MG's and other small cars I don't remember what they were. I used to look at a neighbor's brand new Datsun car (2 door I think) that looked like a tin can compared to all the American cars. It was extremely plane, small and simple. I wondered why anyone would buy such a car. Gas was cheap but he was a visionary. Most of the neighbors had big iron cars. I wish I had pictures of all those memories!!!

Honda makes a pretty impressive snow blower. You may want to run a heavier weight engine oil down in Baja though!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
