Tijuana last Night

Well, it was raining all night and getting around Tijuana was no problem!

SquareCircle, BajaNomad, and I went to Tijuana to meet with BajaCactus (social time and to pick up the new printing of 'got baja?' stickers (BajaCactus owns a printing company, too).

Unfortunately... we were unable to contact Antonio on our cell phones, so after touring the city and seeing all was alive and well, we went to Playas to meet with some friends. About 1 am (Sun.) we came back into TJ to find the town rocking and rolling as usual and plent of places to get carne asada and drinks.

It was fun to see the US border with only a couple lanes open (at 3am) and drove in after 15 minute wait.

No problems in Tijuana getting around the business area... and the Pacificos were cold!

According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,

Yes, a good idea! I hope to hook up with Antonio before he goes back to El Rosario Wednesday. I will ask him to take some of the stickers to Baja Cactus Motel where you and other Nomads can ask the desk clerk for one.

The new rooms have three digit numbers, or just request a new room. I was in 201 over Thanksgiving. It is above/left of the lobby. The only issue is the truck noise (jake brake). Antonio put me in 103 last week, which is the back, lower left corner room. It was totally silent... until the guests above started waking around with heals on, before dawn! I suggest the back, upstairs room if you are as light a sleeper as I am.
