Thanks, DK!

Yesterday I was busy sending thank you notes to 137 friends on FB.

I hate it when FB people send one thank you note to everyone at the end of the day.
If someone too the time to send you a TY note, it is only polite to answer them in person.

Hey, Blanca, Jana took me on a 4 day cruise for a birthday present.

p.s. The food on CARNIVAL ship was terrible. None of the cooks seemed to care what and how they were serving, starting with dry lobster which they had the nerve to charge an additional $20.00.

That's what happens when you're a master chef -- hope you gave them some feedback. There's a second career.

you got a cruise Udo and I got a week in Spain-not too shabby this year!

sorry about the food on your cruise.

BTW I am still working on thanking everyone one by one...no easy task but I agree that an individual note is wonderful.

Hola, Lee!

I took my previous profession into consideration, however, there is no excuse for dry pancakes and waffles. Eggs Benedict with broken, packaged hollandaise mix. Dry/overcooked lobster, well done beef (short ribs), overcooked fillet mignon. The prime rib needed a very sharp steak knife to cut it...the server had a hard time cutting it with his long scalloped knife. Dry mashed potatoes made from a mix. Dry vegetables.
Shall I go on?

These are all basic skills that someone would have been fired over. And lets not forget the two days of yellow water that came out of the sink faucet and toilet. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth (just like in Baja.)

I am waiting for their e-mail requesting feed-back, then I'll let them have it, Lee.
