Hope it's not too late to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, David. It's 2:30 a.m. Saturday, here in Laredo. I think it's still Friday in California so maybe I'm not late.

Thank you, Ron, not too late... we are two hours earlier here on the left coast, but it was still Friday in Hawaii... and if not in Upper or Lower California, that is the next place I would like to be!
Nice to hear from you... Please stay in touch and consider writing a book about all your adventures and mountain climbing in Baja and other places.

The first Baja adventure you had might have been this one?: http://www.vivabaja.com/desert_rat/index.html

Everyone, thank you so much... I will continue to work hard to provide travel, history, and map data... and try to not irritate anyone too much with my posting of Tacomas, tire tracks in the sand, and palm trees next to the high tide line over a 60 year period!

Have a great weekend, September, 2015, and life!

Thanks!

Yes, Go Chargers... and they are going... somewhere else after 54 years in San Diego! Unless the NFL says no, of course... ??

Dennis. LOL. I do check this site everyday. Still looking for small "Hole-in-the-wall" eating places. Plus campgrounds and prices. I will down on the La Jolla beach in my usual spot on October 5 thru 12.
