Need truck with gooseneck hitch in Los Cabos
Hola, I just bought a 27' gooseneck trailer that I will need moved in the next 2 weeks.
It's located about 15 minutes from San Jose del Cabo, and I'm looking for a place to store it in San Jose also.
If anybody is down here now, or will be here in the next two weeks that can help, I would be very thankful and happy to compensate.
Thanks

Thank you willyAirstream for the information.
Unfortunately I don't have the same opinion of him, short story is we emailed back and forth, a price was agreed on last week, he cancelled two
consecutive days after I had people staged at both ends and ready to help if need be.
Now he says he's too busy to move it and won't have time until February 18, I tried to reason with him saying that he was leaving me hanging in a very
bad way, his comment was, "well this is Mexico", I needed it out last Friday and now have issues with the sellers.
So if anybody has a lead for somebody that has a truck with a gooseneck hitch set up down here, I need help moving an empty trailer about 10 miles in
San Jose.
Thanks

Try driving by the rv parks and rv supply store to beg, borrow, plead for assistance. A few Benjamins may entice the truck owner, or motivate the
turkey at bajawheeling. Money talks!

just buy a receiver...they just bolt into a bed of a pickup
you'll have to move the beast later anyway
they run $150 to $200 used

I arrive on the 3rd, and will get my truck and RV out of storage and set up at Vila Serena. I could help you after that, most likely the 4th, if you
still need assistance.

Freewillie please check your u2u.
The photo above is a fifth wheel hitch also, I need a gooseneck.
Thanks for the advice from the rest, I was doing the above recommendations before I connected with the other guy that bailed.
Also I got rid of all my big trucks, just a small Tacoma 4 door left.
Because of the pressure I'm getting from the sellers I am still open to somebody at an earlier date if possible.
Thanks

I think the 5th wheel 'yoke' pictured above is not what is needed. A gooseneck hitch is a trailer ball mounted in the center of a pick-up bed
directly over the axles, bolted (or welded) to the frame underneath the bed. Pascur, you might want to check areas with livestock, especially
horses; a lot of horse trailers and large livestock trailers are gooseneck tongued, and a ranchero may help you out for a few pesos. Mytruck / 5th
wheel is goosenecked, but i'm stuck here in Baja, NEW Mexico... wish I were closer to he'p.

Thanks for all the info, the tow company's said they are not set up to move a gooseneck trailer.
I did locate a couple of vaqueros who had a truck with the right setup, we made the move this morning and all is complete, they were also about half
the price of the guy in la Paz.
