Max!

Today is my son's 22 birthday.

His name is Maximilian.
His mom picked that name from our 1st fly down trip to the now closed runway at Palms de Cortez.
Max was the capitan of our 1st ever panga trip.
I could see Dorado thick under the boat right off the beach. I could not get one to bite. Spawning I guess.
I was soo mad!!!
But somehow capitan Max made it all ok with his gentle manner and stoic demeaner.
If fact thinking back it may have been one of the most pleasant "boat rides" I have ever been on.
Like a dream...
Now Max my son has been on several really good fishing trips with me. Including catching a nice Dorado from a panga at Bola near Isla Corona.
Another dreamy trip...

My oldest son is named Maximilian too. He'll be 21 in November. Happy b-day to your Max.

Thank you all! It's another reason to love my son. Everytime I think or say his name it reminds me of one of the best experiences of my life...
