Funny enough, both of my Harleys have been virtually flawless for 20 years. (The last 6 have been easy, since I don't ride them anymore...)

Met a rider outside of Glacier NP 2 weeks ago on a 2004 Harley. He bought it new, mileage that day was 156,286 miles. I was somewhat impressed since I
know I haven't ridden that many miles and even if I include my car/truck miles, I'd come up short. When you retire and stop driving every day, it's
amazing how few miles you accumulate and the long trips don't make it up.

Harleys in recent years have become quite dependable but like most new bikes are now out of my budget. My '91 KLR has 160,000 miles of which I have
put on 145,000. Since I live in a great year round riding area I am on a bike pretty much every day. I haven't kept actual mileage records but am
certain I am over 500,000 miles over more than 50 years of riding. I'm hoping for at least 10 more years on two wheels which will take me into my
mid-80's. As to the profiles, these days I am in between the dual sport and adventure rider shapes trying to work toward the former.
