Long time reader, rare poster
Hello All.
I just wanted to jump in and say a hearty "Thank You" for the many many posts over the past several years that have just "made my day."
I love you all and now that this historic election year, (in the USA), is heating up, I am positive I will be reading and feeling the love you all
have for each other more than usual.
That being said, please be strong and resist the attempt to "hi-jack" others threads, and if you get really peeed at someone, take a breath, have a
drink of beer or sip of tequila and have a good laugh at yourself.
I would speculate that no matter the differences between us, none of us would turn a shoulder to someone in need. That is what truly unites us and
keeps me smiling at even the rudest and silliest posts on this site.

Welcome to live side of BajaNomad, Royosbaja. If you've followed us in times of trouble, such as hurricanes, I'm sure you saw how we all come
together as family. Thank you as well for your sound advice.
All that said....if you send me two cases of Pacifico [cans will be fine] I'll send you the Nomad code ring, as well as the secret hand shake diagram
so you can more fully enjoy and participate in the "behind the scenes" activities.

Dennis,
Thanks for the warm welcome to the "live side," almost akin to Vader's "Dark Side."
As far as the decoder ring. I may have to take you up on that offer since after reading many a post, it has often felt like I have missed something.
And yes, I have noticed that the Nomad community will gather in numbers and support around difficulties encountered both in Baja and other locations.

How could an election in the US affect this forum? I mean, this is all about Baja...isn't it?
Like most of the viewers of these threads, I have beliefs, values and opinions about the course the US is on, but you won't get them here! I don't
want to taint any future encounters with Nomads I may run into because of something posted here (sorry, too late for a few of you).
I am not apathetic though, and will vote! Maybe we can have a discussion around a campfire or cookout some evening about our choices, but not here!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

welcome to our vibrant locale royosbaja! and you are so right...if you can hold of a bit and then laugh at the whole situation when everyone else is
ranting and raving, surely one comes out ahead.
