swimming with Whale sharks in La Paz

Les and his British friends went swimming with the whale sharks in La Paz.

Their guide was Hector and the cost was 500 pesos per person. They loved the trip - it was only the 3 of them in a panga!

The guide told them not to touch the whale sharks, when other boats came he moved on to another spot with no boats....in other words, the epitome of consideration.

He is located at the pier in front of the 7 crowns hotel

Tell him Les sent you!

on mine too!

We just saw a BBC Earth program today that said they gather in huge numbers off the Yucatan peninsula. and are joined by unusually large numbers of mantas. That would be cool to see.
