Ashland, crater lake, and journey between crater lake to Klamath falls to modoc plateau,... great area to visit. Mt Shasta and surroundings ain't bad
either.
Downtown Ashland has a great park for kids, and just hanging out on summer evenings. Some good food too.

Jerry's jet boat tours.....right in the marina at the mouth.
Lots of salmon guides ply that area around the Hwy 101 bridge.
Yack one up in the parking lot.

Fun! I'll be rafting the Rogue in September for 4 days with OARS. I have done so many trips with OARS, I highly recommend them, but I don't think they
do day trips.
Our departure point is Morrison's Rogue River Lodge:

It does look like they offer day trips. I haven't used them, but if they partner with OARS, chances are they are top notch.

Be sure to use toilet paper in an open clearing.
Leaves of three, let it be.
