...wazzap in ...LORETO!?.....
...been here a few days now,,, sad to see the big people's market is gone from the Arroyo, sad to see,,, found the little one in the square on
saturday, and some farmers in Marisco sunday,,, nothing like the 'old days' of 50+ vendors. <;~l
Found a great beach camp just 3km from town center,,just beyond the airport. There's some visitors in daytime,, some clamming,,, but otherwise
totally my own beach at night,,, and excellent conditions and depth for the sailing I do!
I'm thinking to stay around ~10 days more,,,eventually the wanderer stops for a while!?..... wondering what events, happenings there might be these
days,,,, or you want to try some sailing ,kayaking,,, I can certainly share my toys, teach some sailing(mornings best)...... or how about you?..need
another body to fill out a fishing trip or adventure?....try me out! <;~]
....and what about the Pemex' in town,, any to be wary of?
...what's the best Pescaderia,, other than straight off the beach??

Check all areas for where you may need a permit to launch your daysailer or kayak. Was told I would need one for my inflatable by relatives that
reside at Loreto Bay development.

Sunday market is now out in Miramar...close to where it was before it moved to the arroyo. Turn left off Hwy 1 just before the large ice plant, four
lane road to market on left. Smaller, competition from new grocery stores in town?
Pemex, most are okay. Watch where the locals go. I like the one on independencia, north of Leys.
Events, happenings...check Facebook, Loreto Community Page, or Loreto Bay Village Voice. Nopolonews.com
Fish, shrimp, watch for vendors out of pickup trucks, usually near Leys or Pescador.
Watch your beach camp, pack up and take with when you are away during the day.
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

...thanks folks for the tips, definitely having fun,, will try to get a trip log up sometime,,or if you're curious, you can go to ....'Mangy Sam' on
f'book.
Full mooooon energy coming on,, woke at 4:30am to see,,moon set. <;~}
...Miramar market, yeh that's what I saw...1 or 2 eateries,, a Segundo clothes,, and maybe 3 veg vendors... I can't think that Ley's scared away a
thriving Segundo marketplace, or some wonderful crafts folk of 5 years ago.
...saw what seemed like conservation officers watching me from their truck on first day when I was out kayaking,, thought they might be concerned
whether I was fishing,, they checked my camp then departed...4-5 days ago,, a friendly local said they don't even care about casual fishing, but
soneti.ez there's a few PS fee to pay for camping.
...I have been leaving my sailboat hull chained up here at times, a rather obscure price of equipment.
I'll try to check the local f'book. Any once a week restaurant, bar feast, gatherings? <;~}

Go 25 miles above Loreto to Bahia San Juanico for a couple days of camping. One of the best bays in Baja.
Very easy 10 mile drive off the highway.
Agua Verde is a really fun day trip.

:micah202 , park yourself on our lot in ligui /Ensenada blanca . Free camping just say hi to the guys in the village . Rigo looks over the place and
knows that we want people to enjoy the property and the area .
Loreto is great but to us it's all about being with the locals in the area and also just having a great view and sunrise solo . Coffee and walk on the
beach in the morning , the best !
Any how have a great trip wish that I was there ...
