Brian France- Certified idiot!!
OK. so what is the Baja connection?
Well, one chilly November night in 1971 I sat next to Bill France Jr. for hours in El Arco. I was awaiting my friend's truck to help him get serviced
and Bill was in Moto leathers, awaiting the arrival of the bike that he was to ride on to La Paz.
My guy had blown up in Camalu, and Bill's guy had taken several endos, but finally showed up hours later.
So, Brian, the incredibly spoiled and immature scion to the NASCAR empire, finally has proved his worth.
2+ times BAC, pocket full of oxy, dropping the Trump name, and all in vain,
Had he gone to the races, as any responsible owner would have done, he would likely not have gotten himself in this soup pot. But he never shows up.
He even fined Brad Kez for mentioning that fact at Daytona.
The only redeeming part of this whole fiasco is maybe NASCAR will enforce its rigid rules on such behavior (can you spell Jeremy Mayfield?) and ban
the little twerp for life.
He is killing Cup racing, the sooner gone, the better

“Mr. France was observed operating a 2017 Lexus northbound on Main Street failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign,” a police release said.
“Upon traffic stop, it was determined that Mr. France was operating said vehicle in an intoxicated condition.”
Why are nomads criticizing this guy for driving under the influence? Based on the posts on this website, I think many, many (majority?) nomads drive
around baja under the influence. Just saying!
Woke!

BA was .18 which in New York is "criminal"
Oxycodones in his pocket
And most important, the CEO of a major recognized organization with a "zero tolerance" policy for such behavior.
You have to know that there are a number of million dollar sponsors looking at next year's budget and wondering if this is where they want there money
to go.

Exactly. Look how fast sponsors like Nike etc pull their endorsements when an athlete steps out of line.

Maybe if the drivers would stop kneeling for the national anthem they wouldn't be losing viewers and sponsors. Oops, wrong sport.

Brian France should suffer the same sanctions as a driver would. NASCAR has gotten boring, scoreing too complex, races too long..SAD

The stupid stage one, two, etc. system is lame. Too hard to figure out how far into the race they are. They need fewer races for sure.

Think global, act local. There are many, many nomads that drink and drive in baja. Seems many boast they drive with open beers. So, why whine about
someone far from baja when 7 out of 10 nomads are driving blotto?

Only Sober Criticisms ?
IF only those who Don't Drive Drunk (or driving while drinking) are qualified to criticize the A-Holes who DO, I suppose
that I could but .......................... I really don't care.
Other than to say that ANY who do should (when caught) be jailed for a significant period and realize a painful financial hit. Repeat offenders
should experience a ruinous impact on their lives.

Going down the road in Baja with a brewski at hand is pretty dumb.
Check your insurance policy issued in Mexico.
It says in big print....Policy void if alcohol use is involved!
Whew, that should sober up a few folks.
Maybe even the 7 (out of 10) in the latest "scientific but secret poll" will take note.
As to the miscreant in the title,
Turns out his BAC was not .18..... Nope, it was .19.
Borderline comatose for normal folks.
And, his own organization was running a major, dare I say one of the best, races of the year a hundred miles away, which he failed to attend. (as per
usual)
Had he been a good boss he would have been at The Glen and avoided all of this petty little disturbance in his life....
good riddance, I say!!

He's just another self entitled little twit. I stopped watching NASCAR for a reason yrs ago. I honestly don't care what that punk does as long as it
doesn't affect me or my family.. Unfortunately it does involve me and my family when he makes the decision to get likkered up , eat a handful of
prescription pain killers and then get behind the wheel. Me or my family could be his next victim. F than clown.
