Who wants to Hobie-Sit? Free Hobie Cat loan.

I'd rather "loan" my 16' Hobie than sell it.

April 1, I'm relocating after 4 years in Ensenada.
I'm p-o'd at myself for not using the Hobie I bought in SD two years ago. Too much work, no play: not very Baja.

Anyway, it is complete and in pretty good shape.
Older, restored cat. Smaller pontoons than the newer boats = Definitely for Cortez, not Pacific.

I am hoping to make a pleasure trip down Cortez from San Felipe to La Paz April 1-10. Preferably, leaving my boat & trailer with a Sanders/Warren supporter, lol.

I currently have no idea when (or if) I will return for them. At least I hope to have a solid week of enjoyment @ SF/LA/Mulege to reduce my consternation at non-use. I may return to Baja this fall, hopefully with less distractions and better priorities, including sailing.

I have over a grand into the boat/trailer/accessories. Obviously, if I'm going to sell it I'd like to recoup as much of that as possible considering I haven't fn used it. I currently have it listed on SD clist for $975 (viewable for pics/details), but again I'd still prefer to actually USE the cat.

If I get a vibe of integrity from you, I'll gladly leave the signed-off Titles to the boat & trailer with you (in case I ultimately decide to just donate them to you, you'd be legal owners). Both registrations are current; boat is CA, trailer NV.

Please send private message if interested.
Thanks

I owned a Hobie 16 for years, love them. Used to sail it from the surf in Cardiff, saw a few boats get broken up there, too. Flying the hull up and down Sail Bay was a blast too, especially with double trapeze.
