Graham’s book “Nearer My Dog To Thee“
I never read this book so went online to Amazon to try and buy a copy. The price listed was $645.00 😳 Seems it’s become a classic!
Still available for $9 Kindle but if Graham had a few creates of his book in storage he could sell them and buy a home in Baja.

I never finished reading the book because I gave my signed copy to the park ranger at SPM who was in the book when we visited there right after book
came out. I'm dying to know if he ever made it off the mountain.

Have you tried to buy it from Graham's own website? www.grahammackintosh.com
Umm, darn, it is only advertised available as Kindle and Nook.
How about Discover Baja Travel Club, they have a bookstore at their office and do sell to anyone, not just members... https://www.discoverbaja.com/baja-california-information/sho...
Ooops, they are temp. closed (Covid-19?). Maybe call and ask if they have that book in stock.

Graham is the publisher of the last two books, maybe he can print more if there is enough demand? I sent him an email alerting him to this discussion.

Perhaps you can download a copy from a local library?

Wow! Amazing. Thank goodness we bought the book years ago or I would not be able to afford it now.

One sure way to cause a price jump is to make it "out of print" by discontinuing printing them.
Of course, the author gets none of those 'super profits' made by book dealers.

Nearer - available for library loan
These three libraries show they will loan the book. Just need to go through your local library or college library - usually you will be able to keep
the loan for 30 days.

Wow. Let's see if I can bring the price down.
I'm in La Mision, south of Rosarito - will trade for 12 pack of refreshingly weak beer. New and signed.
Not sure when I can cross the border to mail copies... but U2U me and will be happy to make arrangements.
