Took the dog skiing today.
Appreciate the advice on the route to Telluride.

I have ridden lifts many times with the search and rescue dogs at several resorts, but that is first one I have seen with a lift ticket!
How is the snow?
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

We got really lucky, it snowed 27 inches in the week before we arrived. Warmed up to 43 yesterday, and 38 today.
Tomorrow the high is 12. We are heading back.

The dog's job is to pull the skiers!

Trip report?
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

I'll type one up over the weekend. We just got back home.
Went from LA to Scottsdale, then to Gallup, NM. From there to Durango and on to Telluride. Wanted to do the "million dollar highway" from Durango
to Telluride, but it would have taken an extra half day and my boys would have revolted.
Skiied the mountain for a couple days. Really high up and steep runs. Was low forties the two days we skied, then a high of 15 when we left. Got
very lucky.
Drove from there through Moab, about 3 hrs away. Did a 2.5hr back road drive through Utah where the 70 meets the 15. It was only 30 mins longer than
the highway, and was well worth it. Beautiful country drive.
Really fun trip. My 17 and 19 yo's drove 90% of it. Wife and daughter flew, of course.
