US/Mexico Nations League Futbol Final

Who else will be watching #11 Mexico take on #20 USA tonight?

My daughter and I are fired up for this game. Mexico has the edge but my money is on the USA. Big day for Mexico between the game and elections....and seco ley.

I watched my very first soccer match ever last Sunday. Chelsea v. Manchester City. My buddy went on and on about how Man City was going to wipe out Chelsea. So, I bet him $20 on Chelsea. I had no clue about either squad or how the leagues are set up.

Might even buy a Chelsea hat now! I do like the logo.

Hey Harper,
you wanna come with me next week to go after the California golden trout? I'm starting that western states challenge, need to ca golden, with photos, headed for cottonwood lakes campground - horseshoe meadows area, hope to sleep in the campground for one night, fish one afternoon and the next morning.

My money is on Mexico, most likely in PK's. Mexico has a very solid backline and midfield. But, they have been having a hard time scoring lately which leads me to belive it will go to PK's.

If Pulisic and Reyna have their shooting boots on tonight it might be a different story. I'd love to see Pulisic put a couple in the back of the net. He was so close in the Champions League final.

I've got permits to go in on June 21 from Horseshoe Meadows to the Cottonwood Lakes. I'll be driving up early on the 20th to the HM campground if that's within your plans.

Final score

US 3 - Mexico 2

But Mexico did score numerous direct hits on players by their fans tossing heavy objects onto the field.....:(:(:(

I'm guessing you don't watch too much otherwise you'd understand the reference. Wild game last night.

Absolutely crazy game last night.

Glad it wasn't Dos a Cero, US giving up a goal right at the beginning of the game was a bad omen but they fought back.

Being a 35 year Saints fan shows you I know how to bear pain...

Latino "futbol" is just too crazy for me
Tossing epithets, vulgarities and heavy objects is not sport

I once attended a game in Buenos Aires, and they had us sequestered in big iron cages around the stadium... it was eerie.
