Tropical Depression making a mid-week drive-by?

If the forecasts are on target, what is now Tropical Depression 16-E will become a hurricane by mid-week and will strike the Pacific Coast of Mexico just below Baja.

I have been watching that on the Windy site. This is what it shows as of today, use the slide at the bottom to advance to Wednesday. For some reason I could not post the Wednesday forecast!

Now she's got a name: Pamela. So far the forecasted track hasn't changed. Fingers crossed.

Some rain and wind at Tropical Storm levels , OK. Hurricanes cause more trouble like pwer outages and downed trees & closed roads! Olaf knocked out pwer for 4-6 days. Sweet Pamela...be gentle!

Fine as long as it is a rain and mild wind event. If it's going to be another Olaf, I'll pass. It's October, shouldn't we be done with this now?

It seems Baja has dodged Pamela's bullet. Mazatlan won't be as lucky. :(
