Racedezert comments say the local cops were directing it and giving the "all clear" for the action. Appears Robby slowed right down at the end of it.
Any other motos or racers been asked to do wheelies or other "stunts" by both locals and local cops, or is it just me?
Appears this was pretty much staged by all involved.
A life of fears leads to a death bed of regrets.
Find someone who will take care of you, and take care of them.

Almost every check point I've passed they have asked us to do a wheelie, when I do it on my 990 they are surprised! Sounds like the locals were in on
the fun and it was done safely by Mexican standards, LOL...
100X, what's your story, I'm a Baja rider not racer. I've even started to slow the ridding down to enjoy Baja even more. With retirement next week
I plan to make a lot more trips, Might even start running a chase truck for other ridders just for fun?

Been coming down for the races since the early 70’s. They have always been a boost to the local economies, up and down the peninsula. Most folks
love the show and appreciate the diversion provided by the race and the race activities.
Unfortunately, there are folks that disrespect private property and/or common decency while attending the race.
Race participants provide “special” displays of speed and maneuvers for fans with the full endorsement of local officials and law enforcement.
The fans in San Ignacio truly enjoyed and cheated the spectacle in the square. Lots of cheering and sirens expressing support.
IMO, Baja California benefits greatly from this 54 year old activity.

Been coming to the races since the early 70’s. I have always found a great many residents of Baja to be supportive and in favor if the races. Baja
receives a tremendous amount of revenue and exposure from the off road races.
Unfortunately I have experience race fans that disrespect personal property and common decency etiquette with spectating. That poor behavior does not
warrant eliminating the races but rather better education, expectations and enforcement of fan behavior.
The show put on by the racers in San Ignacio square were endorsed and supported by local authorities and law enforcement.
Locals and spectators thoroughly enjoyed the show!
These displays may not be for everyone but they are enjoyed by many! It’s all good! 👍🏽

Try to educate them, it won’t work, people don’t change.
If spectators and racers damage the land, land owners should prohibit the race on their land.

I won’t preach to anyone, but I will provide you my opinion.Education starts at home. We teach our children how to behave and provide them standards
by which to live their lives.
I was taught by my parents what was right and what was wrong.
I will ask and offer to pay the property owner (rancher) for the right to access his property to watch the race. I have seen race fans tear down
fences that run along the race course. The actual road does not belong to the ranger but the fence and property behind the fence does.
I guess expecting folks to be respectful and conscientious is more than we choose to accept.

Funny, many I suspect.
Our team pulled out a stuck Robby during pre-run.
We also pulled out a stuck Vildosola.
Unrelated, Vildosola stopped and gave fuel to a member of our team when his bike ran out.
Vildosola also stopped and asked me if I needed anything when I was waiting for same rider.
Another TT team fueled another member of our team in the middle of nowhere (I was heading in to help him but then didn't have to).
Robby stopped for Larry.
Larry, one of the nicest guys you would ever meet, would himself do anything for anyone.
I gave and got a number of thumbs ups to/from folks along the course, with me/them only proceeding upon getting one in return.
That is just one MC team's experience during one race!
Yeah, most I suspect!
