Oh well. Confronting often leads to confrontation.
Good you are not hurt at least.

BTW, So I don't have to post on another thread, keep the GE Baja research coming.

The data bases you are putting together on waterfalls, ECR and other interesting points is a real asset to this board. Gracias!

I have everything you would ever want

Jesuit water lines

Boleo ranchos and water projects

buildings with meridians (alignments to other locations)

narco airstrips

UFO landing sites

etc etc

Harald,
Glad you’re OK! The people who attacked you probably didn't vote in the US election!

Has there EVER been an incidence of a gringo robbing down in Mexico?

You mean besides texas,Arizona, new Mexico, Colorado and California?
In my 15 years here, the only time I was ripped off was a gringo.

Sorry to hear of your incident.

Dog fighting is popular some places. If they looked like those types of dogs, they obviously lost $$$, and were peeed. Those types that fight dogs are criminals, so stealing a phone would be natural reaction.

Impunity in this country is out of hand, not sure it can be fixed.

If they beat it, would they bother to bury it? Probably leave it where it lays.
If it was their dog, they might.

Harald, much respect, but this was an ex president's fault, not from global warming or election fraud?

I'd suggest getting a legal "Mexican" pistol. My 90 lb. male Boxer is really defensive around strangers in strange place, Ask questions later is his modus operandi.
I got his back, he's got mine, been that way for 15K years.
