Our last week in the North American continent!
We have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off BUT tomorrow is the day! Ticket bought and we are on our way to Turkey tomorrow
evening. Oh my gosh.
I have a niece whose daughter needs to sell mega girl scout cookies. The cookies are so good and how I liked being a girl scout! So, of course I
bought some.
It snowed in Alanya, so I had to get a coat to meet that challenge. My other niece who lived in NY gave me this down jacket. I hope it does the
trick.
Then I met up with my other niece (I have quite a few nieces, as you can tell). She lived in the apt. next to mine pre Les.
Lastly, the puzzles are on their way to La Bocana and arrive tonight! Mom kept two and I kept two. They look awesome and THANKS THANKS THANKS.
Of the boxes that are headed south, one goes to the senior citizens in Punta Abreojos DIF (development center) and the other to La bocana DIF.
We are off to see the wizard, everyone! Hasta la vista!

Safe travels to you both! I am glad to have met you when Elizabeth and I drove through La Bocana in 2012. Les's chicken stroganoff lunch was really
good, too!

Some of the lowest cost of living around with a lot of natural beauty.
Enjoy the adventure and change of pace.

Very happy for you two. Glad to have met and stayed at your place last year. The town is sure going to miss you and all that you have done for them.
You will still have the Inn and someone managing it for you?

Hi all! We are here and everything went according to plan. Zero issues at the airpor t,, we had all our documents arranged.
The hotel is still going strong. February is going to be very busy with big groups coming. Nacho will have his hands full and I think he is the
perfect man for the job. His daughter Sannia will clean the rooms. they work well together.
There was snow on the ground when we arrived but none falling and it is cool but not cold to me. Les is freezing all the time in La Bocana, nothing
different now.

My son-in-law is Turkish. Educated there and at University of California, with two Masters degrees. He will not go back. My respectful advise; Don't
burn your bridges.
That being said, I am sorry my bucket list to meet you will not happen.
Exercise regularly. Eat sensibly. Die anyway.
