Tidiana and 7 kids update

Hello everyone. Tidiana is not doing so well these days. She is having heart issues, went to Santa Rosalia hospital where she was told they have no equipment to help her (and we know this from when Les went), sent her home with chest pain to wait for an appt with a specialist in La Paz.

One of our friends in La Bocana (Armida) is helping her out. I suggested they take her to our local doctor Romero. They did and at least she is on medications now.

She went to Santa Rosalia with her MIL since Abraham stayed home with the kids. I wanted to pay for a babysitter but who can handle 7 kids with the youngest being 2?

Every 10th of the month, the 4 boys get a haircut. The hairdresser was my student back in the day and only charges me 200 pesos for all 4 boys.

Pictures of the boys with their most recent haircuts!

Once a month I get a call for funds to buy extra supplies, especially masks. The kids are required to use 2 a day.

Children's day was a blast for them. Armida had many crayons to give them that I had left with her. Bertha made them 2 huge cakes and prepared a party. They felt loved!

Their last report cards were awesome. All of them have an A or B average. The tutoring got them all on track. Thanks so so so much to all who supported that project.

The last topic is that all the kids really need shoes - sneakers/sandals. I have a friend living in LA, she is from La Bocana and can take them down when she goes every month to visit her Mom. If anyone can buy, I can furnish an address for shiipping.

Have a great day, everyone.

Two of the kids - Emmanuel and Jireth, would like to take music lessons and there is someone in town that can teach them for 300 pesos a class, each. I am going to try and work out a deal for a combo price.

They are going to need a keyboard, which costs 3000 pesos. Does anyone have one around collecting dust?
