What is your specific question? The swing isn't nearly as severe as San Felipe.

My question was concerning extreme tides and potential damage to homes at Alfonsinas, as per year and one half ago. WiFi appears to be down. Last time
there was some flooding of the beach facing houses and sand incursion. Have friends who are concerned for their homes.

one year there will be a perigean spring tide combined with a hurricane and the houses will be gone.

Harald,
I think this was the week! Their weather station is still down. That could be because they switched to Rodriguez point to point and the mountain top
relays are down though.

I haven’t seen a report from that area. Rodriguez has relays up & down Hwy 1 as well as south of the 1 - 5 junction also probably a relay east
to pick up Gonzaga Bay. Any or all could be out.
That area is cutoff from all directions except air. There’s a lake in the dip north of Jose y Maria. Hwy 5 is closed in a few places. Hwy 1 north of
the junction no reports!

Yes, on my VivaBaja Facebook group, I have been sharing photos and videos. There is one photo that looks like homes at Alfonsina's in with a bunch of
various location disaster photos. If you do not go onto Facebook, I can try and add it here... Doesn't show much and no damage, just water on the west
side of the homes.

Conversation with a friend today who has a place there:
me: Hey there. How did things hold up down in Gonzaga?
him: It’s a mess but not too bad at my house! The road is passable but rough
me: Any houses get flooding?
him: Some of the older ones that did not build a sea wall

David, your collection of post-Kay pics and videos is very entertaining; and , yet, sad. Thank you for posting these.

Thanks Hook and baja99!
Any image or video that catches my attention and shows the event well, I have shared on the vivabaja group.
Hopefully, this will soon pass and we can return to the normal posts about camping, dirt roads, and interesting sites.
