Billboard in Times Square, NYC
Someone on the Todos Santos Newsfeed Facebook group posted this photo of a billboard advertising a "Baja resort yearning for weekend companion,"
a.k.a. an ad for the Paradero resort. The billboards have been spotted in Las Vegas as well.

That's a bummer about the vacancies. Todos Santos is really close to being over-built and overpriced, at which point we'll be in need of a new getaway
- preferably without a billboard!

BCS just published tourism numbers
private rentals have gone from 300 to 8,000 the last 10 years
hotel construction has quadrupled

The hot weather in La Paz is now…. No one wants to go there until next October!
Woke!

will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”

I love smart people
Baja has its seasons and the number of tourists changes accordingly
locals know that well ( and goatie figured it out as well)
the difference now is that no matter what season, the booking numbers are low

That sucks. I got to know the TS area in the early 90s when the only gringos there were a handful of surfers and Frank was tending bar at the only bar
in town.
Get as far away from an airport as you can. Central Baja is the place. Sea of Cortez in the winter, Pacific side in the summer.
Unfortunately, Loreto is getting gringofied now. Airportitis.disease. Direct flights from Canada. It's doomed.
