Continuing on our road trip

After leaving Needles CA we continued on to the Grand Canyon Railway and RV Park for a 2 night stay. The next morning we took the train from Williams AZ in to the south rim and spent a few hours enjoying the scenery and having a great lunch. The back on board the train for the 2 1/4 hour ride back. Next morning left for Casa Grande where we’ll spend just 1 night and then head to Demings NM on Easter Sunday. I’m a little bummed as my mpg dropped to 17.1 pulling our 5th wheel over the multiple mountain ranges we traversed along the way, but I still love my duramax!

I also just passed through Needles headed south toward Yuma. The best MPG I have seen with my Trooper was 16.5.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
