Legal weed is coming. The 100 year drug war is a failure. Personally, MJ makes me a little anxious and uncomfortable. But it helps others, and is WAY safer than alcohol. Legalize and tax it.

Can't sleep? Stop taking ambien and other sleep aids and eat an edible marijuana treat. Your azz will be asleep in 45 minutes.

We've been doing things backwards for too long. Once this gets legalized (as it has in other USA states) in California and the money starts flowing in, the dominoes will fall fast.

Ah this helps. from research on the authors "themindunleashed.org is a pseudoscientific, woo-peddling, clickbait website with a propensity to misrepresent data from studies and present it as scientific fact for their own gain. With just a soupçon of bigotry for flavor.

Neither the site itself nor the whois say anything about who owns and runs the place. "

and from the article itself.
"According to the team of international researchers behind the study, published in the journal ‘Scientific Reports,’ the findings suggest that marijuana risks — at least those related to mortality — are trumped when compared to substances like alcohol.

“The results confirm that the risk of cannabis may have been overestimated in the past,” the report reads. “At least for the endpoint of mortality, the [margin of exposure] for THC/cannabis in both individual and population-based assessments would be above safety thresholds (e.g. 100 for data based on animal experiments). In contrast, the risk of alcohol may have been commonly underestimated.”

Both alcohol and cannabis can be considered a narcotic or hallucinogen, that affects the central nervous system, causing changes in behavior and often addiction. But there are major differences in how each reacts with the human body."

And Bezzell. Like a lot of pot smokers you don't do your research. Look above...it is not harmless.

You think legalization is good? Look at the demographics of pot purchasers in colorado. Seems to be high revenues, with a few getting rich, with predominant consumer the uneducated young male. Not sure the stoner generation is well served by enabling their legal use, eh?

...... so you'd rather just keep enabling the cartels instead? You think the "uneducated young males" just started doing the doobie because of legalization? Come up with statistics on how much illegal pot is entering Colorado now as compared to a few years ago. I'm sure it's still there, like 'shine in West Virginia... just the hillbilly still-cookers don't have Estates in Florida or their own aircraft for escape.
