High pressure is back off the California coast again, so it is sunny and in the low 70's around Sacramento and into the foothills.

I know I am supposed to be rooting for a drought busting set of storms, but man it's nice right now!

I know how much the snowbound love to hear our Baja weather reports, lol....NOT. But we are definitely on an upward trend in La paz and the sun is starting to change its course in the sky. 29C, high scattered clouds and that wonderful cooling breeze. I'm hoping it stays moderate for the next couple of months. Sending warmth and sunshine northbound to the snow belt.

Regards,
Keith

I love how weather sites tell us how cold it feels when a northerly wind accompanies already cold temperatures. Trust me, we know!

80s in El Pescadero forecasting 85 by next weekend. Saw Jupiter, Mars and Saturn, and Southern Cross at 3am on the beach. Waves sounding like cannons all night. Now if the fish would just cooperate.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

Took my dog out into the backyard at 7 this morning when it was 13 below. He's a cattle dog who needs lots of exercise, so during this cold snap we've decided to take him out for much shorter stretches more frequently so that he doesn't get frostbite on his paws. I just got back with him a few minutes ago, and its warmed all the way up to near zero!
