Hwy 5

Doing the Baja once again in Nov. 2016 by motorcycle heading to Cabo. We took Hwy 5 in 2010 there were six of us I was riding an old 1200cc Goldwing. Rode all day at 8 mph or less. The last road report said that there was about 35 miles of road unpaved. I would like to know the current status on construction and road condition.
Only reason for taking this route is we love Gonzaga!

Thanks

Welcome. Yes, Use the search feature for "chapala" or "gonzaga".

There is only 23 miles of dirt left. Cars, Trucks, motorhomes, and Motorcycles on it all the time. Some take 1/2 hour, some take 1&1/2 hours. have a good trip.
