Pancho at Bahia San Rafael needs a solar battery
On Jan. 1 we arrived late in the day at Bahia San Rafael and found only dogs and cats. The next morning, some Americans arrived with Pancho and
dropped him off. Seems he was heading to San Francisquito when his battery died, 10 miles from his home. There he spent 3 days (he said) waiting for a
ride! He had a new car battery at his camp. We took him to his dead truck, and saw he was off. But, what he needs (and I told him I would put out the
word) is a solar cell battery for his shack's electric system. Pancho was very kind to my kids and I when we returned that night, after lost mission
hunting, and made us a yellowtail, and chicken dinner. If anyone would like to help, San Rafael is about 50 miles south of L.A. Bay over a good road.
The beach there is beautiful and Pancho is extremely kind.

a deep cycle battery which, with an inverter and solar panel, can provide 110 v. AC
formerly Ordained in Rev. Ewing\'s Church by Mail - busted on tax fraud.......

Thanks Braulio, I am just the Baja Connection... The rest of the Baja amigos are equally good people: Bajaboy, Roberto, Capt. Mike, and others on
Bajanet.com are actually going into action to do something nice for Pancho.
Just like at Coco's Corner, Bahia San Rafael should be a mandatory beer & soda stop when anyone's going between L.A. Bay and San Francisquito or
Vizcaino. Just that would make his days more fullfilling.
The road south of L.A. Bay is in excellent shape, as well. Pancho's is only 1,500 feet from the road with a beautifull view and a wide sand beach.
