Get A Life
Maybe I need to, but I noted a few ?interesting? figures after my series of "A Trip to Baja" posts.
It seemed that the posts were all read within 24 to 36 hours.
The number of readers was fairly consistent at 50 - 70 unless there was a reply posted, in which case the reads went to 90 and more.
Since most people would not read this type of post more than once, I surmise that there were an average of about 60 members and visitors on the board
during those two day.
Of course, this pre-supposes that everyone who logged on, read my posts ????
And that no-one liked them enough to read them more than once!!
For anyone that cares, I am already planning a new volume with pictures, that will be available for post starting in March, 2006 !!!
In the new volume, we plan to include photographs of the "real" son of Erol Flynn, some fish bigger than my foot, numerous shrimp and fish dinners,
the guy in the purple bathrobe, babes in bikinis, and the 4'6" tall mechanic !!

Flame and troll but not here. We have a policy of ignoring that juvenile behavior on this board.
I know--I just don't comprehend.

Diver, you did good... wrote so well, we got it the first time... but we can go back as often as we want as long as Doug can afford to keep this site
up and archive all past posts.
I am looking forward to your photos, for sure!
Thanks!!!

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed yours as well as all other trip reports.
As long as you are doing what you are doing, traveling, posting, the rest of the bs on here should be considered as insignificant, no? It's not
about numbers!
Keep up the good work and have fun! Then the importance of others opinions rapidly fade!

I sometimes check out threads more than once to check out the replies. When I have time where I have no other "life" in which to indulge, and a thread
develops into the bad kind of thread - the kind of thread which most everyone here says is the ruin of this Baja board, I will revisit the thread as
soon as somebody contributes another reply. Just being honest.

Diver, I really appreciated your trip reports and read every one of them! Just because a person doesn't reply, it doesn't mean your time was wasted by
posting your reports.I do know what you mean and have had the same thoughts about posting, but be assured, you have given us some great stories to
reflect and ponder !!
Happiness is just a Baja memory away...

Sally; I'm not counting posts with any concern for how many read my stories. Just thought it was ?interesting?. I didn't actually expect many replies
as it was just a story; for anyone to read or not. I'm not a "sensitive" author, just a hack and I know it !!
I'd love it if a few more hacks posted some new or old trip stories !
Nope, 4'6" mechanic was at FORD in La Paz.
I only know him as "smiley" after the tip I gave him !
