Fire Truck

RIO VISTA ROTARY
And
WEST SACRAMENTO CENTENNIAL ROTARY
Are sending a fire truck and equipment to Mulege, Mexico
Dist 5180- Dist 4100 -Dist 5160
We need to raise $3500 for the cost of the travel. Gas, Insurance, Border crossing paper work, and flying the driver and co- driver home from Mexico. We will start traveling on February 7th with a going away breakfast at the point restaurant with the RIO VISTA Rotary club. The next seven days will be on the road as we work our way down to Mulege which is over 1100 miles south of here….
We are asking clubs to consider donating $250-500 towards our goal. Checks are being collected by RIO VISTA ROTARY and can be mailed to PO BOX 513 RIO VISTA CA, 94571
I’m ready to work in the sun and enjoy the beaches Help me get to Mexico !!!!!

raffle off the ride down, alot of people want to ride in a fire truck - pair that with the big trip - I bet you could generate big interest. If thats not an option, how many people can you comfortably fit in the truck? sell seat space,. and they are responsible for their own way home!

Might look into a "Go Fund Me" account seems to work very well for many folks.
Get it out thru Facebook like Mulege News , or one of the other group sites around Mulege.
I think there are several.
