Sentri Interview This Morning

8:30 this morning I had a Zoom interview that took 4 minutes.

The officer, who was extremely nice, merely asked for me to hold up my passport to the camera as well as my drivers license with the address I used on
my application.

She then asked me if I had been arrested since my last approval and that was that.

I suggest you do not choose to be interviewed in-person.

So easy!

Question about Sentri/Global Entry interviews -

I have an in-person interview for my Global Entry card next month. Can initial interviews be scheduled by Zoom or only renewal interviews?

Doesn't look like it. The PR that Don linked specifically says: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has launched a remote interview pilot for
renewing Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) members.

"To schedule a remote interview, eligible applicants may log into their TTP dashboard and select the “Scheduling Your Remote Interview” link. CBP
recommends that applicants verify their e-mail address of record by using the “Edit Profile” link prior to scheduling a remote interview. Doing so
will ensure that the applicant receives appointment details and reminders."

I have an in-person interview for renewal scheduled for next summer, which is the first available date at the SD/Otay office. I do not see any
possibility of scheduling a Zoom interview on my SENTRI dashboard. Does anyone know how to change an in-person meeting to a remote one? Thanks.

Maybe you need to cancel your existing interview first.

You can move your in-person interview up just by watching the TT website, and going into reschedule your appointment. I moved mine up from this past
June to last November just by staying logged into the TT website when I was online, and continually checking for appointments.
